The Forensic Auditor performs audits of the company's financial records. You will help the company reduce risks and develop fraud prevention procedures to avoid issues in the financial management. Your duties will include forensic research and analysis of the corporate financial data to detect potential fraud or revenue losses. Your duties blend auditing, accounting and investigatory skills to assess financial documents.
Responsibilities

Fraudulent Bookkeeping Investigation: collect accounting records and assess transactions to find misreported and unethical actions to trace infractions such as kickbacks, misappropriation, and embezzlement.

Due Diligence Contracts: assess contracts and royalty agreements to identify fraud and abuse and use background checks to conduct financial investigations into all parties involved.

Litigation Discovery: gather electronic data, paper documents, and all relevant statements.
- Insurance Claim Investigation: obtain financial records related to insurance claim fraud detection involves the use of computer software, legal documents, and financial statements to assess false data and misuse of funds.
Must Have
- BSc degree in Accounting or Finance; a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification will be a bonus.
- At least 1 year experience of working as a Forensic Accountant or Auditor
- Experience with accounting and financial procedures
- Experience with forensic auditing procedures
- Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Good understanding of accounting software and spreadsheets
- Strong investigative and analytical skills with a good ability to find inaccuracies.
